Born in Rome, she graduated at the “Santa Cecilia” Conservatory, she then further developed her studies with E. Bagnoli and, in chamber music, with R. Brengola. She has carried out an intense solo activity both in Italy and abroad, performing with important music institutions, such as the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, the Toronto Symphony, the Basel Radio Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of the European Community and the Ofunam Symphony Orchestra, Mexico City. In the last years, she has particularly dedicated to the chamber repertoire cooperating with artists such as C. Scarponi, S. Verzari, L. Giuliani, L. Bossoni, G. Pieranunzi, L. Signorini, L. Piovano, A. Corsi, L. Cipriano, M. Turriziani, A. Vismara, E. Norberg Schulz, S. Rigacci and with ensembles such as La Scala String Quartet, the Soloists of the RAI Symphony Orchestra of Turin and the Nuovo Quartetto Italiano, taking part both to national and international festivals; she has made tournées in Spain and Mexico with the Busoni Ensemble, founded in 1987 with A. Vismara and P. Vernikov and she gave several concerts with G. Carnini, both as piano and harpsichord soloist. In 1994 she has been the co-founder of the Solisti dell’Accademia Filarmonica Romana – receiving the Academy Diploma in 2003 – performing in Italy, Germany, and Venezuela. She has also cooperated with musicians such as P. Arcà, B. Cerchio, G. Sinopoli and R. Vlad who dedicated to her new compositions, which herself performed. She has recorded for RAI-Radiotelevisione Italiana and for the Vatican Radio and she is graduated in History, Science and Technology of Music and Performing Arts. She has been the art director of the “Incontri Musicali di Terni” and she has created the initiative “Music in Hospitals” in Rome. In 2005 she has been the co-founder of the “Giuseppe Sinopoli Festival” in Taormina, Italy and in 2011 she has curated an autobiography of R. Vlad, published by Einaudi. She has been a member of the Governing Council of the “Amici di Santa Cecilia” Association and of the Board of the National System of the Orchestras and Choirs Youth and Children.
